3Rooms 0

I was browsing through my Flickr contacts the other day and stumbled across this find of a bathroom. It’s a photo my brother took recently whilst visiting a press event at Sony’s 3Rooms ‘brand space’. It’s great to see they’ve thought about the environment in a different way and really follows through with whole vibe of the flat. Would be nice to see it in person.

As I was popping by the OWL & Lion gallery in Edinburgh yesterday I had the pleasure of seeing them setting up there current show (above).

This month, the ceramics department of the Glasgow School of
Art will set up a showcase that reflects the feelings of melancholy and farewell to mark and lament the closure of this unique
arts department.

They’ve covered the entire floor in real turf and it looks and feels amazing. It’s only on till Sunday so if your in Edinburgh then go check it out today and see for your self. Hopefully there will be some more photos on the gallery website in case your unable to make it over the next week.

A3 Full Poster

I mentioned this a couple of days ago. Well all the promo material has come back from the printers and is scattered around out there so it seems like another good opportunity.

London art colleges prospectus 0

I spotted these prospectus for the London Art Colleges and Universities and loved them the minute I saw them. A really simple design with great use of colour and I love the binding method that leaves the spine exposed showing all the signatures bound together. The format has a long pull out section at front to show the contents, followed by a show catalogue-like samples of work, finally followed by course applications information.

It was designed by lovecreative.com. There website is a little confusing as its a blog that shows some of their work aswell as whats going on in their studio.
