<p><a href="http://www.aaronmillerillustration.com/">Aaron Miller</a> has done a sterling job of creating a really interesting header illustration for this week over at <span class='bm_keywordlink'><a href="http://www.formfiftyfive.com/">FormFiftyFive</a></span>. I&#8217;ll even go out on a limb and say it&#8217;s up there in my top 5 that have been created for the site since we redesigned it last year. For me the best ones have been those that play with the space, change on a daily basis or think of the area as more than just an illustration space.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s only today and tomorrow to see it on show at <span class='bm_keywordlink'><a href="http://www.formfiftyfive.com/">FormFiftyFive</a></span> so head over if you haven&#8217;t already seen it and check out <a href="http://www.aaronmillerillustration.com/">Aaron&#8217;s full folio site</a> for some more gems.</p>

<p>I caught this excellent parody of the Catch Me If You Can title sequence on The Simpsons a couple of weeks back. You can <a href="http://artofthetitle.com/media/film/2002/simpsons_spoof_catch_me.html" target="_blank">watch the full Simpsons Catch Me If You Can parody</a> or <a href="http://artofthetitle.com/media/film/2002/catch_me_if_you_can_480p.html" target="_blank">watch the original title sequence</a> over at <a href="http://www.artofthetitle.com" target="_blank">The Art of Titles</a>.</p>
<p>The original title sequence for Catch Me If You Can has to be one of my favourites, directed by <a href="http://www.addadog.com" target="_blank">Kuntzel+Deygas</a> and produced by <a href="http://www.nexusproductions.com/showcase/summer-showreel/" target="_blank">Nexus Productions</a>. Whilst researching both title sequences, I also came across another one of my favourite title sequences for Thank You For Smoking by <a href="http://www.shadowplaystudio.com/" target="_blank">Shadow Play Studio</a>. If you&#8217;re interested in the title sequence for Thank You For Smoking check out these <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/shadowplaystudio/sets/72157604167902866/" target="_blank">stills on flickr.</a></p>

<p>Just a quick update, as I know it&#8217;s been a while. I&#8217;ve added a recent motion video project for <a href="http://www.formfiftyfive.com/" target="_blank">FormFiftyFive</a>, documenting the making of issue 1 of <a href="http://sixbyten.com/" target="_blank">6&#215;10</a>. <p>Finally, I&#8217;ve been swept up in the whole <a href="http://twitter.com/gilcocker" target="_blank">Twitter</a> malarkey particularly since I last posted. In that same vain, I&#8217;ve resurrected my older <a href="http://www.sansgil.com/" target="_blank">Tumblr</a> which I think may well be the new <a href="http://blog.tippingpointlabs.com/2009/04/twitter-is-done-tumblr-is-next/" target="_blank">Twitter-come-blog</a>. Expect to see this blog transferring to <a href="http://www.sansgil.com/" target="_blank">Tumblr</a> very soon.</p>
